Outline (in English)

Unless new technologies and knowledge are taken up and applied in society, they will end up being no more than a "pie in the sky". To ensure that new technologies are used effectively, we must quantify their economic effects and understand what factors lead to their adoption. In this course, we will therefore use econometric analysis and technical knowledge of clinical plant science to approach issues in food, agriculture, and environment, from an economics perspective.
