【Outline (in English)】
【Course outline】The equations that govern the field in a continuum medium (field of electromagnetic field, field of potential / electron / hole in semiconductor, field of density / velocity / temperature of fluid) are expressed in the form of PDEs (Partial Differential Equations). This course focuses on the "convection-diffusion equations," which often appear in science and engineering among PDEs, and explains their computational methods and computational examples, focusing on steady-state problems.
【Learning Objectives】
By the end of this course, students should be able to understand computational methods of steady problems for the "convection-diffusion equations."
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course contents.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grading will be decided based on report assignments (100%) on the premise of in-class contribution.

【Default language used in class】
日本語 / Japanese
