【Outline (in English)】
(Course outline)
An ordinary differential equation is an equation that one unknown function and its derivatives satisfy, and appears in various science and engineering scenes. In this lesson, you learn the solution of basic ordinary differential equations and examples of their application.
(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students should be able to solve the following differential equations:
1) Various 1st order ordinary equations
2) 2nd order linear equations with constant coefficients
Moreover, they have understood an application of ordinary differential equations.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Students are encouraged to work on the assignments.
(Grading Criteria)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the followings:
Short report (20%), Term report (10%), Term-end examination (70%).

【授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか） / Outline and objectives】
常微分方程式とは，1変数の未知関数とその導関数が満たす方程式であり，理工学の様々な場面で登場する．この授業では，基本的な常微分方程式の解法と，応用例を学ぶ．
【到達目標 / Goal】
基本的な常微分方程式の解法を理解し，その実行に必要な計算力を身につける．
具体的には次の通りである．
1) 種々の1階常微分方程式を解けるようになる．
2) 定数係数2階線形微分方程式を解けるようになる．
3) 微分方程式の応用例を理解する．

基本的な常微分方程式の解法を講義形式で解説する．講義内容に対応する演習課題をほぼ毎回出題してその理解と定着を図る．
レポート課題1回分を予定している．
課題の出題やそのフィードバックは，学習支援システムを通して行う予定である．

必要に応じて微分積分学・線形代数学の復習を行う．
本授業の準備・復習時間は、各4時間を標準とする．
