【Outline (in English)】
Horse therapy is one of the animal-assisted therapies that aims to bring about mental health by using animals. And, retraining is an activity that supports a retired racehorse so that it can be used as a riding horse again. In Japan, it is difficult to achieve both "human and horse welfare" and "economic activity", and these efforts are currently delayed compared to the western countries. The purpose of this class is to find ways to connect the human and horse welfare by learning knowledge and skills related to horse therapy and retraining as well as para-equestrianism.
