Outline (in English)

Students will understand the concept and development history of the sports industry, learn about the classification and structure of the sports industry market, corporate behavior in the sports industry domain, and the fundamentals of sports consumer behavior. In addition, students will study various case studies of the sports industry (professional sports clubs, sports manufacturers, media companies, rights business industry, etc.) to deepen their understanding of the current state of the sports industry and the challenges it faces.

The objectives of this course are to be able to explain the concept, developmental history, and market structure of the sports industry, to deepen understanding of the actual practical contents of the sports industry, and to acquire the ability to consider and discuss various issues in the sports industry.

The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

Please review the material covered in each class.
Homework related to preparation and review will be assigned in class.

The evaluation will be based on the reaction paper and confirmation test required in class (60%), report (10%), and final exam (30%).
