Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
Through lectures, students will be fostered to acquire the knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology necessary for condition assessment at sports activity sites.
【Learning Objectives】
To use knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to improve own conditioning techniques
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
1. Students are expected to work on the assignments presented in each class before coming to class.
2. Students are expected to review the materials distributed in each class before the next class.
3. Students are expected to prepare for each class by studying the contents of the syllabus.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria/Policy】
1. 80% of the grade will be based on in-class evaluation (attendance and class proficiency test) and 20% on the final exam.
2. In-class evaluation includes not only the class proficiency test, but also learning activities to be done outside of class (preparatory study and review) and attitude toward the class.
3. The grading scale is based on a 100-point scale, with 60 points or higher being considered passing.
4. The final exam will cover all the topics covered in the class, but will mainly focus on the objectives of the course.
5. Students must have attended at least 10 classes to be eligible to take the final examination.
6. Points will be deducted for failure to submit assignments, absences, tardiness, and early dismissal.
