Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
This class is designed for students for upper beginner level students and linked to the J3 General class. Students will practice basic Japanese vocabulary, kanji and listening, and are expected to further develop.
【Learning Objectives】
The purpose of this class is to assist students to handle J3 General level Japanese. Students are actually able to get new kanji and vocabulary with classmates. Also, enough chances in various conversational cases at listening.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
※Students are expected to study at least one hour at home for preparing /reviewing the lessons.
※Students are expected to memorize new kanji and vocabulary for quizzes before coming to the class. Progress is always based on J3 General classes.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Class participation, study sheet：30％
Midterm exam：20％
Final exam：20％
Quizzes：30％
※Students who miss 4 or more times will not be eligible for a credit on this course, nor take the final exam.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
This class is designed for students for upper beginner level students and linked to the J3 General class. Students will practice basic Japanese vocabulary, kanji and listening, and are expected to further develop the Japanese proficiency needed in daily life by expanding basic knowledge.
しょきゅうこうはんレベルの がくせいの クラスです。 J3そうごうクラスと リンクしています。ちょうかい、ごい、かんじを べんきょうしながら、きほんてきなにほんごを みにつけて、わかるにほんごを ふやすことが できます。
到達目標Goal
The purpose of this class is to assist students to handle J3 General level Japanese. Students are actually able to get new kanji and vocabulary with classmates. Also, enough chances in various conversational cases at listening.

※Students who take J3General are all expected to take this class for keeping up the pace. It is strongly recommended to take both classes.
※Please attend the class in the first and second week. The student coming for the first time in the third week cannot take the class.

＊１しゅうめと２しゅうめのクラスには、かならず しゅっせきしてください。３しゅうめに はじめてきたがくせいは、クラスをとることができません。
