Outline (in English)

An increasing number of people are finding employment or starting a business in a private non-profit organization with the aim of "a work style that balances social contribution and business." In this class, you will learn theoretically and practically "private non-profit organizations" that carry out public interest activities or business / economic activities. Private non-profit organizations include non-profit organizations in a narrow sense (civil activity groups, etc.) and non-profit organizations in a broad sense (public interest corporations, etc.).
Learn about private non-profit organizations with a number of concrete examples:
(1)Organization / operation form and characteristics, (2)Social significance that cannot be done by companies or governments, (3)Historical history of activities and policies, (4)Actual conditions and issues in the field, (5)Practical know-how to specifically establish a private non-profit organization, (6)Collaboration business by NPO and government / company, community development, (7)A new regional autonomy system by a non-profit organization based on the territory.
Prepare for the lesson theme in advance (about 1 hour each time), and organize and consider what you learned in the lesson after the fact (about 3 hours each time). While comparing what you have learned with events in the real world, you will deepen your learning by various means according to your own doubts and interests, and build your own way of thinking.
Grades are 70% for report assignments and 30% for normal scores. Evaluation is based on comprehension, inquiry, utilization, and expressiveness.
