Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
 The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the fundamental principles and methods of physical training. Students understand that training initiatives that primarily contribute to physical health also contribute to psychological and social health.
【Learning Objectives】
 By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1. Learn the basic theory and method of training.
2. You can devise and practice your own training program that will help you achieve your goals.
3. Understand that training is a way to contribute not only to physical health but also to psychological and social health.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
 The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each. In this class, we recommend the following efforts outside of class hours.
1. In this class, in order to achieve the goals set through the practice of lectures and training, please practice the training systematically, review the contents, and record the effects and future tasks.
2. Please subscribe to the training materials on a regular basis.
3. Get in the habit of looking at various sports-related information sent from TV, newspapers, the Web, etc. This work will deepen your understanding of the content of this lesson.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
 Your overall grade in the class will be decided ba,sed on the following.
1. Report assignments imposed during the final class: 40%.
2. Status of participation in classes , reaction papers to be tackled in each class: 60%
