Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course introduces basic knowledge of the environment/environmental problem and policy to students taking this course. The aim of this course is to help students acquire the knowledge necessary for solving familiar environmental problems. Please refer to the schedule for detailed information.
【Leaning Objectives】
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-understand the importance of each citizen's efforts.
-understand the significance of actually touching and feeling the environment around us.
-get the right information, make wise decision, and tell others, listen and share with others.
-willing to do good activities for the familiar/global environment.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
1.Find out about environmental issues of your interest.
2.Try participating in environmental activities, if possible.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】
・Normal point 70% : Preparations, reaction papers, approaches, contribution to group work
・Report (Field-note, Mid-term, Final ) 30%
