Outline (in English)

This course introduces the realities of migrants and ethnic minorities issues in Japan and anti-oppressive practice of social work. At the end of the course, students are expected to enhance their necessary knowledge and critical thinking for understanding the reality of ethnic minorities. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report (50%), and in-class contribution(50%).
