Outline (in English)

Utilities are important mechanisms for regulating and uniting resources vital for life - water, gas, electricity - with the natural and manmade environment, and allow the creation of indoor spaces. At the same time it has a large influence on the evaluation of living standards. Since ancient times humans have settled along watersides, and since have chosen to build and manage indoor environments according to their convenience and pleasure. In the future, such tendencies must be upheld by the pace of technology. We will examine such issues through the themes of water supply and drainage and electricity utilities. Building facilities are responsible for creation of comfortable indoor environments by integrating natural and artificial environments to supply water, air and electricity. It plays a large factor in how living quality is evaluated. This course with its theme on air will provide students with an understanding of quality, planning air conditioning, heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment.
