Outline (in English)

Urban and regional spaces will expand years into the future, influencing natural resources, climate and ecology. The reconstruction of urban space results from the synthesis of various technologies such as urban planning, civil engineering, building planning, and the size of the urban space. Right or wrong, it is no exaggeration to say that the landscape is incorporated at the initial stage of this reconstruction. Landscape in Japanese sometimes extends to mean landscaping, the spatial relationship between man and nature. It is essential to comprehensively plan and design according to the natural and ecological environment specific to each area, along with the foundation and history of the land and human will. Landscape design means designing relationships, not merely forming designs. In this course, we will learn the essence of landscapes utilized for future societies, using books and papers related to various concrete pioneering projects / work examples and landscape design. In addition, we will learn from landscape design methods for the purpose of learning the basics of landscape design, the practice of gardening a house.
