Outline (in English)
This course allows students to learn the aims, roles, and formulation methods of transportation plans. For this purpose, students will understand motion characteristics of persons and objects, characteristics of different means of transportation, transportation demand forecasting using person trip surveys, structure standards of transportation facilities, characteristics of traffic flow, and traffic capacity.

To understand the traffic volume survey, actual traffic condition survey and traffic demand estimation (stepwise estimation method)

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
交通計画の役割とその領域，関連分野を認識しつつ，人・物の動きとその特性および各種交通手段の特性を把握する。また，それらの特性把握のためパーソントリップ調査等による交通需要予測を通じ，各種交通手段と交通施設の相互関係を把握（土地利用形態，密度と交通ネットワーク，交通結節施設）するとともに，交通施設の構造基準，交通流特性，交通容量等について解説し，交通網計画および交通管理計画の策定手法習得を目標とする。

基本的な交通計画の概念を把握するとともに、ネットワーク計画や解析、簡単な交通需要予測計算が算定できるような能力を身につける。また、モビリティマネージメントなどの新たな交通計画の概念を理解する。
今年度の授業はオンライン形式で行う。アクセスするURLは、学習支援システムの当該科目のお知らせメニューを参照のこと。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
欠席4回以上の物には単位の取得を認めない（評価D）。期末試験の成績60％、レポート・授業時の課題発表40％。

基礎的な統計解析は習得しておくこと。
交通インフラは社会の要望および時機の政策に大きく影響される「社会工学」である。「工学」としての普遍的な基本を習得するとともに、発展する社会の発するサインに敏感になることにも意識すること。
