Outline (in English)

Philosophical thinking can be particularly significant for engineers when grasping and facing various “environments”. This lecture provides participants with knowledge and opportunities to consider “environments” deeply. Topics include: 1) Meaning of environmental philosophy, 2) Engineering and environment, 3) Western ethics and Oriental wisdom, 4) Power of locality, 5) Circulation and symbiosis part 1, 6) Circulation and symbiosis part 2, 7) Practical application of environmental philosophy. Two or three small reports during each lecture and a final report will be submitted.
