Outline (in English)

Market environments, such as progress of the service economy, globalization, ICT and diversification of consumer needs, are changing. With changes of those environments and trading objective, there have been transitions in the concept and objective of marketing. However, its essence is ultimately to create a mechanism providing value to satisfy consumer needs.
In this course, we will focus on customer creation and learn how to deal with marketing problems and how to solve them. In each lecture, we will learn the basics of marketing through case studies.
Before / after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: two mid-term examinations 25%+25%, and term-end report 50%.
