Outline (in English)

In this class, We will learn the process of the earliest period in which the "Islam" we know today was formed through the introduction to the religious traditions of the ancient Mediterranean world, the emergence of the Prophet Muhammad on the Arabian Peninsula, the development into the Middle East and the division of the community. The students of this class need to form their own understanding of Islam's generation and development, including its historical background, and to be able to present their understanding in writing to others.
