We will explain genealogy and development of ideas concerning what an "ideal society" should be, with a focus on sociological theories.
Course outline:
This course aims to explore genealogy and development of ideas concerning what an "ideal society" should be, with a focus on sociological theories.
Learning Objectives:
(i) To understand the significance of sociological social thought on "the ideal society."
(ii) To understand how sociological social thought was formed through the trial-and-error process of classical and representative sociologists.
(iii) Through (i) and (ii), to acquire the ability to envision what an "ideal society" should be.

「あるべき社会」が何かをめぐる思想の展開を、社会学の学説を中心に見ていきます。
到達目標Goal
（1）「あるべき社会」をめぐる社会学的な社会思想の意義を理解する。
（2）社会学的な社会思想がいかにして形成されたのかを、古典的かつ代表的な社会学者の試行錯誤のプロセスにして理解する。
（3）自らが「あるべき社会」が何かについて構想する力を身につける。

社会学の古典的な研究と学説を詳しく取り上げて解説する授業になります。最初の15分で前回の授業の感想や質問に対するリプライを行います。感想と質問は授業支援システムを通じて提出します。

秋学期に開講される「社会思想史Ⅱ」の受講は必須ではありませんが、併せて受講することでこの講義についてもより知識を深めることができます。
