Outline (in English)

The primary goal of this course is to understand the unique landforms and formation processes found in cold regions and cryosphare, such as glaciers, permafrost, and periglacial environments. Additionally, the course aims to comprehend the processes by which these features have evolved over the Quaternary period and the impacts they have on contemporary human societies. Through this understanding, the course aims to enable the restoration and prediction of climate change from the past to the future, based on spatiotemporal comprehension of material and energy cycles.
