Outline (in English)

Policies (and their systems) are the "foundation of life" for people living in today's society (urban-type society).
We'll learn the structure and characteristics of urban-type society with theory, and understand the policy process.
It will develop your perspective for your research from the perspective of policy studies.

Learning Objectives;

- Understand the characteristics of today's social structure ('Urban-type Society'), which is the premise for public policy.

- Understand the policy types that have been formed historically.

- Understand the basics of the process of public policy and gain a policy studying' perspective.

Learning activities outside of classroom;
- Completion of textbook and related papers/books

Grading Criteria /Policy
- Participation 50% (discussion 25%, Presentation 25%)
- Achievement 50% (report on presentation 25%, the final report 25% )
