Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to help students acquire knowledge about policy process. First, we confirm the basic theory by using "Policy-Making Process" (Charles E. Lindblom and Edward J. Woodhouse 2004). Next, we will deepen our understanding of policy processes through case studies. We analyze what kind of responsibility is taken care of in the system and how the main actor forms and progresses policies by external or internal environmental factors in existing system. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
