Outline (in English)

Recently, there has been a growing concern with "nudges," which use knowledge from behavioral economics to promote behavior change. The purpose of this class is to examine the effects of "nudges" when applied to public policy and what problems they may cause. In this class, we will study behavioral economics and discuss the "nudges" that are currently being adopted by many local governments. In this case, the experience of the students will be necessary. Students will not simply listen to a lecture, but will point out problems based on their own experiences.
