Outline (in English)
In this class, students will learn technical writing skills and improve their proficiency in writing. Students will also be required to perform extensive reading to improve their overall English ability. Students are expected to actively interact with their peers using English through peer feedback.

In this class, students will learn technical writing skills and improve their proficiency in writing. Students will also be required to perform extensive reading to improve their overall English ability. Students are expected to actively interact with their peers using English through peer feedback.
到達目標Goal
At the completion of this course, students will create a bilingual questionnaire in order to gather firsthand data. Students will then use this data to write and research a longer paper (2-3 pages) in English.

The class is a combination of a traditional lecture class and an active learning environment. Students will receive instruction on writing/research activities and then have in-class time to start their own writing. The instructor will provide continual support and feedback.

1. Complete all assignments and upload them to the Hoppii learner management system.
2. Study using online materials (Extensive Reading)
3. Gather data and prepare drafts needed for in-class pair feedback.
Students will need to complete one hour of work outside of class and
students cannot get a credit unless they complete the Academic Express assignments for the term.
