Outline (in English)
The aim of this course is to help students acquire basic knowledge and perspectives of social policy. By the end of the course, students are expected to understand the basic concepts of social policy and acquire the ability to analyze various policies that address contemporary social issues. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following; 1)term-end examination: 60%、Short reports : 40%.

出来るだけ具体的な「社会問題」のトピックをとりあげ、それらへの政策的対応の在り方について検討する。リアクションペーパーを次回の授業でいくつか取り上げて、講評を行う。
※なお、授業計画は、参加者の興味・関心および進捗状況に応じて変更の可能性もある。
