Outline (in English)

In this seminar, we will explore the theme of "Innovation for Solving Social Issues: Theory and Practice," with a primary focus on innovation driven by businesses. The main objective is to develop a comprehensive understanding of innovation from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Specifically, the seminar will involve two key components:
1)Student Presentations: Through these presentations, students will delve into various theories of innovation and examine different aspects of managerial thinking related to innovation.2)Group Work: Guided by the instructor, students will engage in Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities. In small teams of approximately six members, students will identify social issues to address and develop innovative solutions. This collaborative approach will foster critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Throughout the seminar, emphasis will be placed on striking a balance between economic and social values while promoting innovative practices. Students are expected to actively participate in discussions, presentations, and group activities.
Before and after each session, students should allocate sufficient time to review course materials and prepare for discussions. Assessment will be based on the following criteria:
Short Reports: 50%
In-Class Contribution: 50%
Overall, the seminar aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive innovation and address contemporary social challenges effectively.
