Outline (in English)

Statistics basically consists of descriptive statistics, whose main content is how to summarize data and information, and inferential statistics, which are based on probability theory. In today's age of advanced IT and AI, a variety of data and information exists not only in statistics based on traditional public institutions and surveys, but also in financial and commodity markets and corporate organizations. Students will understand the viewpoints and ideas of statistics and learn basic analytical methods for the data scattered in society.
