Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course provides a detailed examination of sport sponsorship. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to understand the theoretical rationale for sponsorship and strategic communications through sponsorship.

(Learning objectives)
The goals of this course are to learn (1) the strategic relationships between events, teams, athletes, fans, and corporate sponsors and (2) understand professional techniques used to sell sponsorship packages.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class, students are expected to read relevant articles and book chapters.

(Grading criteria)
Grading will be decided based on short report (30%), short exam (30%), and final exam (40%).
