Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This class is for advanced level students. The aim of this class is to learn sentence patterns which are the JLPT N1 level.
*In this class, the first half of the textbook (sentence patterns 1-60) will be covered.

(Learning Objectives)
At the end of the course, students should be able to understand and use N1 level grammar.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Students will be expected to prepare for five sentence patterns before/after each class.
Homework for grammar exercises will also be given.
Your required study time is around 1.5 hours for each class.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Class participation : 30%
Midterm exam : 20%
Final exam : 20%
Grammar quizzes : 15%
Assignments : 15%
※ Students who miss 4 or more times class will not be eligible for
credit on this course, nor take the final exam.

(Others)
※This class was called "Japanese 6S (Intensive I)" "Japanese 6F (Intensive I)" until FY2023. Students who have earned credits in the past will not be able to take this class again.
※The selection will be held if the number of applicants exceeds the class size limit.
