Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
This class is an advanced level(JLPT N2 or higher)listening class. 
The purpose of this class is to listen to presentations, lectures, news on various topics, understand the contents and increase vocabulary and Kanji.

[Learning objectives]
The goals of this class are
1 to be able to understand the contents and the main ideas of presentations, lectures, and news reports spoken at nearly natural speed. 
2 to be able to expand kanji vocabulary.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
Students are expected to study one hour at home for reviewing.

[Grading criteria /policy]
Participation20%,Assignments10%,Quizzes30%,Mid-term Exam20%,Final Exam20%

※Students who miss 4 or more times each class will not be eligible for the credit on this course, nor take the final exam.

※This class was called "Japanese 6S (Listening, Vocabulary & Kanji)""Japanese 6F (Listening, Vocabulary & Kanji) " until FY2023. Students who have earned credits in the past will not be able to take this class again.
※The selection will be held if the number of applicants exceeds the class size limit.
