Outline (in English)
【Course outline】In this course, we will consider the role of culture and education in developing communities through case studies from various regions.
【Learning Objectives】By the end of the course, students will be able to learn about the way in which citizens can develop their community through enjoying and learning about culture.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】The student in charge of reporting will prepare a resume. Other students are required to read the text in advance and raise questions and points to discuss. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following：
in-class contribution：50%, Report content：50%

地域づくりに文化と教育が果たす役割について、これまでの歴史を振り返りながら、文献および各地の事例から考える。
到達目標Goal
本授業では、市民一人ひとりが文化を楽しみ学ぶことで地域がつくられていく道筋について学ぶことができる。

受講生と相談の上、輪読するテキストを決定する。授業は、担当者がレジュメを用意し、テキストの内容に関する議論を交わしながら、理解を深める。課題等のフィードバックも授業内で行い、さらなる議論に活用する。

テキストや取り扱う事例の内容について、担当者はレジュメを用意する。担当者以外はテキスト等に事前に目を通し、疑問点や論点を挙げる。授業後に内容を振り返り、要点を整理する。本授業の準備・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とする。
