Outline (in English)

【Course outline】This course will make students deeply understand the significance and the effect of physical activity. Therefore, students who take this course can improve properly learning and attitude about physical, mental, and social health necessary throughout the students' future of life.

【Learning Objectives】By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Understand more about the meaning and role of physical activity from various perspectives.
2. Use sports and physical activities to establish a prosperous and healthy student life and social life.
3. Develop essential knowledge and attitudes that contribute to self-management.
4. Develop the ability to demonstrate leadership and solve problems through communication with others.
5. Acquire various skills related to the development of employability.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】Students are expected to follow the lecture's instructions in charge of the class regarding the assignments to be done after class and preparations for the next class. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】Grading will be decided based on the contents of experiments, investigations, and presentations (60 %) and the class participation (not attendance) (40%).
