Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This class is one of the courses of the "Liberal Arts Seminars" that began in the 2018 academic year. Although this class is a semester-long course, it is related to "Liberal Arts Seminar II," which is the same course in the fall semester, and the content covers a single theme throughout the year. In this class, students will learn about the thoughts of philosophers and thinkers through careful reading of texts on the theme, and thereby develop their own philosophical thinking.

【Goal】
(1) To be able to understand and explain the body theories of philosophers and thinkers covered in this class.
(2) To be able to explain the importance of considering the body based on the issues of modern society.

【Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.) 】
(1) Students are expected to read the relevant passages and prepare some questions about them before the class.
(2) The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading criteria】
(1) Regular marks (Students are expected to prepare and present their resumes / Students are expected to submit several reaction papers) (50%)
(2) Final report (50%)
