Outline (in English)
Course outline: In this course, we use a textbook for advanced learners and aim to acquire the ability to read, write, listen and speak German. In addition, we cultivate a view of intercultural understanding through a comparison of German and other languages.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this course students develop advanced communication skills to reach A2 level.
Learning activities outside of classroom: Students are expected to spend 1 hour to review the last lesson as well as prepare for the next lesson.
Grading Criteria: Overall grade in this course will be decided based on the following:
Homework and performance in class: 40%
Midterm and final exams: 60%

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
ドイツ語初級文法を一通り学習し終えた学生が対象となる。基本文法と基礎的な語彙を復習しながら、新たな文法規則や語彙を習得する。さらにドイツ語を読み、理解するだけでなく、ドイツ語を聞く、話す力を含む基礎的なコミュニケーション能力を身につけ、独検にも対応できるドイツ語能力を得ることが目標となる。
到達目標Goal
1年間の授業を通じて初級文法を復習しつつ、文法規則に関する習熟度や語彙力を発展させながら、場面や状況に即した基本的なドイツ語コミュニケーション能力を養う。ドイツ語技能検定試験（独検）3級に合格できる語学力を身につけることが、この授業の到達目標である。

授業は演習形式で行う。使用する教科書は12課からなり、各課とも導入、会話、聞き取り、読解、文法問題、発音から構成されている。語彙や文法の説明をしながら、練習問題に取り組み、ドイツ語文章の読解や会話の練習を行う。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
中間の確認テストと期末テストの得点を60％、平常点を40％の合計点で評価する。平常点は、会話文や読章の和訳、練習問題に的確に解答あるいは提出すること。提出された課題は次の授業の冒頭で解説し、間違いやすいポイントや発展的な内容について説明を加える。
