Outline (in English)
In this class you will acquire basic knowledge and understanding of German vocabulary, phrases, sentence structures, grammar and pronunciation as well as communication skills in terms of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Students will get regular homework based on the Arbeitsbuch. The standard time for preparation and review of this class is 1 hour in total.
Active classroom participation is essential for passing this course as well as applying the communicative skills acquired in class in various test formats at the end of each unit.

The focus of this course is on building up vocabulary, idiomatic phrases, grammar, pronunciation, listening and writing skills as well as communicative competence. At the end of the course, students will be able to master simple everyday situations in a German context.

当講座では、学生一人ひとりがドイツ語で基礎的なコミュニケーションができるようになることを目指す。Basicな言語運用能力の一層の定着を目指す。

想定された日常生活の具体的な場面の中で、実際にドイツ語を使ってみることによって、ドイツ語の基礎知識習得をはかる。
コミュニケーション能力育成という理由から、授業はすべてドイツ語で行われる。授業形態は言語活動、例えばペアワーク、グループワークなどが中心となる。授業での学習が最優先であるが、学習した内容を十分理解するために復習をすることが要求される。何よりも、楽しくドイツ語を学べるよう心掛けたい。
授業内の言語活動や課題に関しては、可能な限りその場でフィードバックを口頭で行う。必要に応じて、HOPPIIを通じて課題のポイントや問題点の指摘を行いたい。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
There will be a test after each unit, which accounts for 60%.
Attendance, classroom performance, homework and attitude account for 40%.
Make sure to always arrive on time.
