Outline (in English)
The course is for students who would like to improve their English skills through preparation for STEP Eiken and TOEFL tests. The goal of this course is to develop skills in paragraph reading, effective listening and speaking, and well-structured writing. Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than one hour for a class. The overall grade of the course will be determined by the final examination (50%), the home assignment (20%) and the contribution made in class (30%). In principle, no more than 3 absences per semester are allowed.

このクラスでは英検準1級とTOEFLの演習を行いながら「スピー キング・リスニング・リーディング・ライティング」の4つの能力強化を目指します。英語検定試験受験予定者に加え、英語の継続学習希望者の受講も歓迎します。

Students participate in practical activities including the four skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing. Feedback for assignments and reaction papers will be given in each class. (この授業の形態は演習です)
