Outline (in English)
In this course, whether they are new to TOEIC or want to improve their score, through learning for TOEIC, students will acquire not only business English, but also English skills (especially listening and speaking skills) that will be useful in everyday life. The aim of this course is for students to acquire English language skills to the extent that they can obtain a TOEIC score of 500-600 points. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content. Grades will be decided based on participation (50%) and the final exam (50%).

この授業では、TOEICに初めて挑戦する人もスコアを上げたい人も、TOEICのための学習を通して、ビジネス英語だけでなく、日常生活で役立つ英語力（特にリスニングとリーディング）を身につけていきます。
到達目標Goal
TOEICスコア５００〜600点取得できる程度の英語力を身につけると同時に、日常で役立つ英語の表現をおぼえ、リスニングとリーディングの基礎力をつけていきます。

毎回教科書を1unitずつ学習していきます。各unitでTOEIC全パートの問題形式の解法ポイントを押さえながら演習を行うと同時に、日本人にとって聞き取りにくいリスニングのポイントや見落としがちな文法事項を解説します。また、ビジネスや日常生活の様々な分野に関する英語に触れることで、TOEICだけでなく日常生活で役立つ表現をおぼえていきます。課題提出後の授業、または学習支援システムにおいて、提出された課題からいくつかポイントを取り上げ、全体に対してフィードバックを行います。

授業で勉強した内容に基づいた試験を行います。試験結果に応じてフィードバックを行います。
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
毎週、授業で学んだ内容をよく復習してください。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、合わせて1時間を標準とします。/University guidelines suggest preparation and review should be around an hour a week for a one-credit course.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
授業への取り組み（50%）と期末試験（50%）から総合的に評価します。欠席4 回で単位取得資格を失いますが、その回数に至らなくても、欠席回数が多くなればその分授業への取り組みの評価に影響します。期末試験を受けない場合も、単位取得資格を失います。
