Outline (in English)
This English course is designed to improve the four skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing while learning about potential social changes caused by cutting-edge technological developments. The goal is for students to be able to read aloud fluently, to accurately listen to discussions on a given topic and to write well-structured paragraphs expressing their own opinions on the topic. Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than one hour for a class. The overall grade of the course will be determined by the final examination (40%), the home assignment (30%) and the in-class contribution (30%). In principle, no more than 3 absences per semester are allowed.
