Outline (in English)

Course Outline: Psychology is a discipline of scientific inquiry of the human mind, something that is very familiar to each of us on the one hand yet invisible and sometimes unpredictable on the other. This course is intended to help nurture a deeper understanding of the workings of the mind through various perspectives including perception, cognition, motivation, development, interpersonal relationships, and clinical practices.
Learning Objectives: To understand the sound workings and development of the human mind as well as conceptualize identity and interpersonal relationships through various psychological perspectives. Students enrolled in this course are expected to continue taking Psychology II.
Learning Activities Outside of Classroom: The expected time commitment in preparation for and reviewing after a class meeting is two hours each per week.
Grading Criteria/Policy: Students will be evaluated based on their performances on the final examination (50%) and learning activities/quizzes (50%). Details will be provided at the first class session.
