Outline (in English)

 This is an introductory course of microeconomics with an emphasis on understanding basic framework of economic theory: decision making of household, firms and government, economic consequences of economic transactions in the market. The course aims to enhance the ability to understand economic and social outcomes based on the reasoning with microeconomics. Students are expected to prepare for the class by studying the course materials for two hours prior to the class and to follow up each class with two hours of review. Students are graded by two short-answer tests (30%) and the final exam (70%).
