Outline (in English)

(Course outline) This course deals with religions' contributions, neutrality, and altruism towards society from a glocal standpoint. (Learning Objectives) The goals of this course are deepen learning and understanding of issues and problems surrounding religion in the international community (such as the contribution of religion to society and religious neutrality in the public sphere) through examination of specific examples. (Learning activities outside of classroom) Students will be expected to make an effort to understand the contents of the class using the handouts, notes, and reference books provided, and to ask questions if there are any points that are not clear. (Grading Criteria /Policies) Grading will be decided based on the initial and mid-term reports(40%) and term-end report (60%).
