Outline (in English)
This course will introduce and survey the various basic concepts and theoretical framework of ethics. Students will gain practice the critical and philosophical thinking through this course.
During the first part of this course we will introduce the basic concepts and foundational theories of ethics. We will attempt to consider what is definition and what is value. In the second part of the course we will examine some specific topics through philosophical theme. Through this course, students will be able to recognize the importance of ethical values and consideration. In addition, students will be given not only the knowledge and comprehension of ethics, but also the opportunity to consider critically.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
倫理学を学ぶことは、単に教室の中で知識を得て、試験で高得点をとることで終わりではない。倫理学の知は、私たちが生きる場で試されるのであり、日常的な生活の中で生きていくことで磨かれていく。そのため、この授業は身近な問題を取り上げながら、社会のルールや規範と個人の価値観との齟齬について、各学生がそれぞれの立場で考察できるように促す。
到達目標Goal
この授業では、現代に生きる私たちが日常的な社会の中で、一個の人間としてどのように存在し、どのように生きるかを社会的規範との関係に基づいて考察することを目的とする。その際に、様々な倫理的問題を解決する実践的な知を獲得することを目指す。
The purpose of this class is to examine how we exist and live as an individual human being in the everyday society we live in today, based on the relationship with social norms. In doing so, we aim to acquire practical knowledge to solve various ethical problems.

基本的には講義形式で行ないます。毎回の講義後には、リアクションペーパーを提出してもらいます。リアクションペーパーは、レポートのような大変なものではなく、授業を視聴して各自で考えたことを書いてもらうことにより、考える力を養い、自分の考えを文字化する訓練のために実施しています。
学生の皆さんに質問を投げかけたり、皆さんのリアクションペーパーを紹介したりすることで、同世代の受講者がどのような考えを持っているのか、同じ講義を聞いてもさまざまな考えがあるのだということを知ることができます。講義形式であっても、教員からの一方的な教えではなく、双方向性を生み出し、お互いに刺激し合い、学び合えるような授業にしていきたいと考えています。

毎回の授業の復習をよくすること。とくに授業内で気付いたことや疑問に思ったことは各自で調べたり掘り下げて考えてみること。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各90分を標準とします。
Review each class carefully. In particular, you are expected to research and think in-depth about any questions you notice or have in the class. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 1.5 hours each.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
毎授業ごとのリアクションペーパー（60％）、期末試験またはレポート（40％）
毎回リアクションペーパーを提出することを必須としますので、受講を検討する際は注意してください（ただ提出しているだけの人は、評価対象とならない場合があります。主体的に考えながら受講することを重視しています）。

This year, due to the university's request, the class will be conducted on demand. For this reason, we will increase the evaluation ratio of the reaction papers for each class. Please note that it is mandatory to listen to the on-demand class properly and then submit a reaction paper by the deadline every week, so please be careful when considering taking this course.

倫理学を受けたことのない人、倫理学がどのような学問か分からない人でも、関心を持って受講することで、少しずつ倫理学が身近な学問であることが理解できるようになってくると思います。また、受講者のコメントシートを紹介することで、同世代の人たちの色々な考え方を知ることができ、良い刺激になると思います。
その他の重要事項Others
※ 倫理学という科目が初めてであっても、毎回の授業の中で少しずつ理解を深め、徐々に慣れることはできるので心配しないでOKです。（基本的に初学者向けの授業です）
※ ただし単位取得のみを目的としている人にはお勧めしません。大学生としてきちんと学ぼうという意思のある人に受講して頂きたいです。
※ この科目は教職科目のため、共通シラバスです。
* Even if you are new to the subject of ethics, don't worry because you can gradually deepen your understanding and get used to it in each class. (Basically, this class is for first-time students)
* We do not recommend this course to those who just want to get credits. This class should be taken by anyone who is willing to learn properly as a university student.
