Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
Applied ethics is ethics to deepen and apply theoretical knowledge to specific ethical problems occurring in reality. For this reason, in this class, we take up ethical issues arising from the crossing of various cultures based on diverse values in the global society, and consider differences of values with others with different cultures.

【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students are expected to acquire practical knowledge to solve various ethical problems.

【Learning outside of classroom】
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following Term-end examination: 65%, in class contribution: 35%.
