Outline (in English)

Western philosophy began with human desire to explore the root of all things with the power of human reason and to position himself in the whole world captured as such. In the lecture, we see how these metaphysical needs are behind various intellectual explorations up to the present age, becoming a self-organizing-world-view that the world as a whole is very vivid and self-organizing.
The purpose of this course is for students to have the experience of actually coming into the contact with the world of thoughts in famous works and to be able to express that experience.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Grading will be decided based on the total score of confirmation
tests given every class(100%).
