【Course outline and Learning objectives】
This lecture aims to give techniques and cultures to read novels, using the work of modern Japanese literature.
How to write and read novels is not single. In this lecture, you can learn that diversity exists in how to write and read novels. Let's begin by reviewing the origins of the novel. And according to the history of literature, We confirm that the way of writing and reading the novel has changed.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Please try reading literary works for about 4 hours per week.I recommend reading while being aware of the genre. If you don't know the genre, check the shelves in the bookstore.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The final report is the main subject of evaluation. I also want to evaluate the short reports (about 400 characters) for each session. The evaluation rate is 70% for the final report and 30% for short reports.
