Outline (in English)

<Course outline>
In this class, you will learn the way of using internet search engines as well as basic skills needed in using computer software and network services.

<Learning Objectives>
The objective of this class is NOT only acquiring computer skills BUT to learn how to find the necessary information when you need it, from now and in the future. Since information technology is advancing every day, it is more important to understand what the computers and/or network services actually are and what can be done with them than memorizing the way of using computer software.


<Learning activities outside of classroom>
Students are expected to understand the course content and complete the required assignments after each class meeting.
The learning time outside of classroom should be at least four hours per class.

<Grading Criteria /Policy>
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end assignment:20%, Every class assignments:30%, In class contribution:50%.
