Outline (in English)
Course outline：We learn how to understand and support Special Educational Needs through inclusive provision. Special Educational Needs includes developmental disorders, mild mental retardation,students with ethnic
background, poverty, abused child and so on.
Learning Objectives：Understand the characteristics of disabilities and the mental and physical development of infants, children, and students with special needs.In particular, acquire basic knowledge about the learning and daily life difficulties of various disabilities, and The goal is to understand children's physical and mental development, psychological characteristics, and learning processes, as well as the philosophy and structure of special needs education systems, including inclusive education.
In addition, it is necessary to understand the educational curriculum and support methods for infants, children, and students who require special support, in particular, to understand specific examples of support methods, and to understand the position of classroom guidance and independent activities in the curriculum. The goal is for students to understand the significance and methods of creating individual instruction plans and educational support plans, and to understand the significance of building a support system in collaboration with coordinators, related organizations, and families.
Understand how to identify and support young children, children, and students who do not have disabilities but have special educational needs, especially the learning and living difficulties of these children due to issues such as their native language or poverty. The goal is to understand how to respond and understand the need for an organizational response.
Learning activities outside of classroom：Preparation and review time for this class requires approximately 2 hours of study each. The contents of the preparation will be instructed as necessary.
Grading Criteria /Policy：Normal score (contribution to discussion and group work) 36% + Post-class assignments 26% + Final exam 38%.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
発達障害や軽度知的障害をはじめとする様々な障害、外国籍や家庭養育基盤が弱いといったハンディキャップ、これらにより特別の支援を必要としている幼児、児童、生徒が、通常の学級に在籍し、授業活動にも参加している実感を持ちながら、すべての子どもたちが生きる力を身に着けていくための、現状の把握、支援の方法を学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
特別な支援を必要とする幼児、児童及び生徒の障害の特性、心身の発達を理解する。特に、様々な障害の学習上および生活上の困難に関する基礎的な知識を身に着け、当該の子どもの心身の発達、心理的特性、学習の過程を理解し、インクルーシブ教育を含めた特別支援教育の制度の理念や仕組みを理解する。
特別な支援を必要とする幼児、児童及び生徒の教育課程及び支援の方法を理解する。特に、支援方法の具体例を理解し、通級指導と自立活動のカリキュラム上の位置づけを理解し、個別の指導計画や教育支援計画を作成する意義と方法を理解し、コーディネーターや関係機関、家庭と連携した支援体制の構築の意義を理解している。
障害はないが特別な教育的ニーズのある幼児、児童及び生徒の把握や支援を理解する。特に、母国語や貧困の問題等により本件に該当する子どもたちの学習上、生活上の困難とその対応方法を理解し、組織的な対応の必要性を理解する。

講義科目であるが、授業は、講義部分と、グループワークとで構成される。
グループワークでは、資料の読み込み、ディスカッションを行う。最終的にグループワークでの成果を発表する。毎回授業後に、Hoppiiにて、授業を通して学んだことを整理し提出する。授業のこうした成果は次回授業でフィードバックを行う。

第1回[対面/face to face]：オリエンテーション
本授業の目的と進め方について説明。特に文部科学省が新規科目を設定した目的と、本学の教職課程との関連とを説明。
第2回[対面/face to face]：特別な支援を必要とする子どもたち
本講義でとりあげる子どもたちは幅広い。具体的に講義の対象となる子どもの状況を理解する。
第3回[対面/face to face]：認知特性とはなにか
発達障害の子どもは認知特性に偏りがあるといわれる。そもそも認知特性とは何を指すのかを実践的に理解する。
第4回[対面/face to face]：学習障害とその支援
発達障害は主に「学習障害」「自閉スペクトラム症(自閉症スペクトラム障害)」「注意欠陥多動症（AD/HD, ADD）」の3つがある。そのうちの1つ、学習障害とはどのような状態なのか、何が困るのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。

発達障害は主に「学習障害」「自閉スペクトラム症（自閉症スペクトラム障害）」「注意欠陥多動症（AD/HD, ADD）」の3つがある。そのうちの1つ、注意欠陥多動症とはどのような状態なのか、何が困るのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。
第6回[対面/face to face]：自閉症スペクトラム障害とその支援
発達障害は主に「学習障害」「自閉スペクトラム症（自閉症スペクトラム障害）」「注意欠陥多動症（AD/HD, ADD）」の3つがある。そのうちの1つ、自閉スペクトラム症とはどのような状態なのか、何が困るのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。
第7回[対面/face to face]：軽度知的障害とその支援
通常学級、もしくは一般校の特別支援学級に在籍する、軽度の知的障害のある子どもについて、どのような状態なのか、何が困るのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。
第8回[対面/face to face]：肢体不自由・病弱な子どもとその支援
肢体不自由・病弱な状態で、一般校に在籍、もしくは特別支援学校に在籍の子どもについて、どのような状態なのか、何が困るのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。
第9回[対面/face to face]：家庭基盤の弱い子どもとその支援
家庭教育はどのような機能をもっているのか、養育基盤の弱い家庭で育つことはどのような問題を生むのか、どのような支援が必要なのかを具体的に理解する。
第10回[対面/face to face]：多様性とインクルーシブ教育
本講義で取り上げるような多様な子どもたちを包括的（インクルーシブ）に教育していくことの理念と具体的課題とを理解する。
第11回[対面/face to face]：個別の指導計画、教育支援計画
各特性をもつ子どもたちについて、指導と教育支援の計画をどのように立てるのか、留意点を理解し、具体的に計画を立ててみる。
第12回[対面/face to face]：多様な関係・連携と支援
多様な子どもたちの支援には各種関連機関との連携が不可欠である。関係機関を知りどのように連携体制をつくっていくのかを理解する。
第13回[対面/face to face]：介護等体験の意義と留意点
教職課程における介護等体験の意義と目的、留意点とを理解する。
第14回[対面/face to face]：まとめ：特別支援教育の今後の展望
特別支援教育と広く共生社会との関係を理解し本講義の総括をする。

本授業の準備・復習時間は、各2時間程度の学習を必要とします。予習の内容は必要に応じて適宜指示します。
