Outline (in English)

The purpose of this lecture is to increase students' motivation to become teachers by considering teaching as a future option, understanding basic knowledge and ideas about the significance of teaching, the role, qualifications, and duties of teachers, what it means to be a teacher, and what they need to learn and acquire in order to become a teacher, and determining their own aptitude for the teaching profession.
Specifically, the course will be structured with the significance of the teaching profession, the role of teachers, and the duties of teachers as the main elements. In recent years, the challenges that teachers face have become more diverse and complex, such as dealing with students who have difficulties in their daily lives and learning, and dealing with parents and community issues. The profession of teaching requires more than ever an awareness of the need to face the changing times and society, and to continue learning throughout one's life. In addition, there is an increasing emphasis on cooperation with people inside and outside the school, such as in response to "team schools," and teachers are expected to understand their individual roles and to respond to various issues as an organization. The course aims to deepen each student's understanding of the teaching profession by providing an overview of the current state of school education and school teachers and the various issues they face, and by examining specific aspects of the work of teachers and their way of life.
