Outline (in English)

<Course outline>
In an aging society with a declining birthrate, we will focus on the form of "temporary housing" and give an overview of the housing market and housing policy issues, with a focus on the form of "temporary housing" regarding what kind of housing should be, as it forms the basis of life and is closely related to welfare.

<Learning Objectives>
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:understand how the rental housing market has responded to social changes such as household composition, how policies have supported it, and how policies should be changed as the population declines.

<Learning activities outside of classroom>
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

<Grading Criteria /Policy>
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Short reports: 50%, in class contribution: 50%
