Outline (in English)

(Course outline)Communication. The act of communication began when mankind first became aware of its neighbors. In every age since then, communication has appeared before us in various forms as a tool for connecting people, for asserting oneself, and for acquiring unknown information. With time, communication has come to demand a fuller quality and quantity. This is partly because it has become a material for estimating the abilities of each individual and the demands of those involved have become higher. What exactly is the communication expected of members of society?" Mass," "mini," "social," "corporate." This project will take a look at communication, which is discussed in a variety of combining forms, from a perspective beyond the literal and verbal, and grasp its current state, sometimes through practical application.
(learning Objectives) In order to grasp the reality of the various forms of communication, it is essential to consider first of all "location," "members," and "time axis. Once this is understood, the ability to communicate as a technique will naturally follow. In addition, "tools," "environment," "funds," and "worldview" will also have an impact. After understanding the degree of awareness and the complex requirements surrounding the person to be communicated with, we need to confirm our "reading," "listening," and "viewing" skills, shape up our "writing," "speaking," and "conveying" skills, and learn the basic principles of information exchange, from the whole to the part. Improve the ability to "receive" and "transmit".
(Learning activities outside of classroom) In order to establish communication for the exchange of information and will, a certain methodology is necessary, but more than that, the "what" must be adequately prepared. For this purpose, it is necessary to (1) gather enough information and knowledge, (2) verify it, (3) select and discard it, (4) arrange it rationally, and (5) follow procedures to transmit it. If we focus only on writing, speaking, and reading skills, we will not be able to find the center of gravity of communication. We should actively explore various topics that emerge in the vicinity of the topic we cover without losing our critical eye in advance.
We should not only exchange information in a narrow world, but also try to collect information from a broad perspective. In particular, we recommend that you visit local websites and use translation applications to gather information on foreign opinion, etc. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
(Grading Criteria/Policy)The sum total of the evaluation of "assignments for each lecture" and "in-class examinations to be set during the final lecture time" will be the factor for credit approval.
Face-to-face: "Assignments for each lecture" will be written and submitted on the spot within the designated time during the lecture time (since they require writing in a relatively short period of time, students are encouraged to develop their writing skills on a regular basis).
Points will be given according to the content of the answers given by nomination or by raising hands.
Score: 39 points (3 points/0.1 point increments x 13) for each of the 13 assignments in the lecture, excluding the final day, if the student continues to receive full marks.
The final paper exam (20 points for term/phrase questions, 25 x 2 = 50 points for the essay) must be taken in the final lecture.
If all are perfect, 109 points will be awarded.

For students who represent the school during regular lectures, or who are absent due to illness or unavoidable absences from weddings and funerals, an additional report assignment (maximum 3 points) will be posted via the Learning Support System after the final exam in lieu of the in-class assignment (e.g., the default document, designated Athletic Association documents, funeral cards, copies of receipts dated from medical institutions, etc.). and copies of dated receipts from medical institutions, etc.]. However, this condition applies only up to three times per person. Absences for personal reasons are not eligible for relief. In this case, the report will be more voluminous than the regular in-class assignments.

The final exam, an important component of the credit, is scheduled on the last day of class, not during the exam period, so please be sure not to miss it.
