Outline (in English)
・Course outline
The aim of this course is to improve students’ English writing skills.
・Learning objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to improve your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar and write good paragraphs of your own.
・Learning activities outside of classroom
Students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter from the text and have completed the required assignments. Your study time will be more than one hour for a class.
・Grading criteria
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Preparation: 20%, Assignments: 20%, Term-end examination: 60%

幅広い分野の英文を読み知識を得た上で、自ら発信することを学んでいく。英語を表現する際に必要な力を様々な点から養っていくことを目的とする。
到達目標Goal
本授業を通じて英語を発信するために必要な以下の内容を強化・習得することを目標とする。
1. 語句・コロケーション

3. パラグラフ・エッセイの構造

テキストを読解した後、重要表現の確認や文法事項の見直しを行い、パラグラフやエッセイの構造に着目しながら英文を作成していく。課題については、授業内で全体に対してフィードバックを行う。

以下を基に総合的に評価する。
予習２０％ 課題２０％ 定期試験６０％
原則として授業回数の1/3を超えて欠席した場合は単位を認めない。また遅刻３回で欠席１回とみなす。
